Description: Join Patrick Ponce for a Q&A on cubing! Patrick is from New Jersey USA. In high school he was captain of the sailing team and was first chair fluitist in the marching band. He first started cubing in 2012. At his first comp he had a 25.87 second average but by early 2014 he was achieving sub-10 second averages for the 3x3. At the world championship 2017 in Paris he got the fastest single 3x3 solve of the competition (5.47 seconds). At the Rally In The Valley 2017 comp in Virginia on 2 September 2017-he got the world record 3x3 single in a time of 4.69 seconds. At cubing nationals 2019 in USA in Baltimore he won the 3x3 event with an average of 7.05 seconds becoming the US national champion in 2019.
